Our primary mission at CLC Hardwoods is to provide our customers around the world with the highest quality hardwoods available. We do this by combining three important things:

We start with premium Appalachian timber harvested from West Virginia, where we have access to more than 300,000 acres of quality hardwood forests. We offer a variety of standard and specialty lumber products in 16 wood species from basswood to white oak.

We hire the best, most experienced operators available in the marketplace. They use the latest in technology to locate, source, and process products to meet whatever specifications you demand. 

Finally, CLC Hardwoods is a family-owned company that traces its roots through three generations of timber professionals. The company's core values for dependability and trustworthiness have been built over 75 years and are firmly installed in all that we do. That includes our concern for and stewardship of the environment. We realize our future depends on the future of our forest.

We specialize in a variety of Appalachian hardwood species, including red oak, white oak, poplar, ash, walnut, cherry, sap gum, hickory, sassafras, basswood, hard maple, and aromatic cedar. We also offer cypress, eastern white pine, and spruce. 

We offer plain-sawn, quarter-sawn, rift-sawn, and live-sawn lumber cut to customer specifications. In addition to producing NHLA grades in standard thickness from 4/4-16/4, we offer additional manufacturing services to increase optimal yield for our customers, including:
